My lunch at Merapi Resto in Klaten. There were some things that attracted me in that restaurant. Klaten, May 2008: A few weeks ago, i decided to have my lunch in Merapi Resto, one of prestigious and famous restaurant in Klaten, for the first time. The place is great. it’s located in the midle of paddy field. The food is great. When i went to the rest room, i saw several aquariums set nicely. I thought it’s used for fresh fishes. But i was wrong. Actually, all the animals living in those aquariums were not for eaten or sold. It’s more like a collection. The owner collected some unique species. It was true as in some aquariums, i saw few turtles. I noticed two types of turtle. I saw one with a long head. It’s diffrent turtle like i used to know. I was wondering how this turtle protect their head while being treat. Most of them hide their head and legs by pull in the skull but not this one. Frankly, it’s kind of weird. If i take a picture with focus only 5-10 cm from the edge of the head, you wouldn’t be recognize that as a turtle. It’s face is more like an alien. Don’t you think so? (jsp).
